Beulah Leona Schoenfeld of Deshler, NE the daughter of Otis and Elsie (Conyers) Gardner was born February 14, 1915 at Fremont, NE. She departed this life Tuesday June 21, 2011 at Parkview Haven Nursing Home in Deshler, NE at the age of 96 years.
Beulah grew up and attended school in the Fremont area, graduating from Fremont High School. She married Leonard Donahue in Fremont, NE. This union was blessed with the birth of two children. Leonard died in the early years of their marriage. On April 18, 1955 she married Melvin Schoenfeld at Saint John Lutheran Church in Chester, NE. Beulah and Melvin made their home on a farm near Deshler, NE. She was the librarian for the Deshler Public Library for over 30 years.
