Beulah L. Cox Dodd, 96, Anderson, died April 26, 2007 at Countryside Manor, after an extended illness.
She was born May 11, 1910 in Anderson, and was a lifelong resident. She was a homemaker and lifetime member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, a member of Senior Saints, the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge #174, a 25 yr. member of the Tops & Kops #134 at the Anderson YMCA, a lifetime member of St. John’s Victoria Guild and had volunteered as a Pink Lady in the gift shop.
She is survived by her sons, Robert Dodd & companion Brigitte and Peter Dodd & wife, Mary, all of Anderson; a sister, Helen Green; nine grandchildren, Robin Newman, Thomas Dodd & wife, Terena, David Dodd, Laura Dodd-Phillips, Heather & husband, Greg Smith, Peter W. & wife, Hope Dodd, Sherry & husband, Dan Stapleton, Connie & husband, Chuck Loyd, and Linda & husband, Darrell Shupperd; ten great grandchildren, Nicole Howard, Amanda Dodd, Griffin & Gustin Smith, Hayden Phillips, Jade & Jessica Stapleton, Nick Loyd, and Ashley & Cody Shupperd. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Countryside Manor.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Myron Dodd; her parents, Arthur & Jesse Fadley Cox; brothers, Richard and Robert Cox; and a sister, Marjorie Johnston.
