Beulah Harp born December 24, 1915 died November 23, 2013. How such a magnificent life and woman can be summed up with such a concise statement is impossible. She was the sun and all the other members of the family her planets. She was the anchor that held us all in her orbit. She lived one month and a day short of 98 years. However in the course of that long, hard and good life she brought more light and love into the world than any other hundred people combined. She was the light of the world to me, the sun has set and with it the world has become a far poorer and darker place than it was before. The greatest honor of my life was to have the priviledge of being her son. She is survived by Myself Gregory Harp and her Grandson Modesto Alcala, we will always love her, and remember her. When the last star in the sky burned out we will still love her. She lived through two world wars and a half dozen smaller ones. She started out in life riding a mule and being a share croppers daughter. She ended it in the age of hyper tech and jet planes and manned exploration of the moon. She was in real life Rosie the Riveter during WWII. She was beloved wife and mother. She was my mother and my best friend, she was the light of the world, She is gone and with her the best of us all. Good Bye Mom, until we meet again.
