Beulah Erdman, age 91 of Livermore, passed away Friday, August 24, 2018 at the Humboldt County Memorial Hospital in Humboldt. Beulah Arlene Andersen was born to Otto and Mary Andersen on November 10, 1926. She attended Livermore School, graduated from High School and was married to Magnus (Mike) Erdman on June 13, 1947. They were blessed with two children: Kristie Ann and Stuart Jay. After the sudden loss of her beloved husband, Mike, she worked as office secretary at the Livermore School and retired after 20 years of serving administration and students.
During her lifetime, she enjoyed going to Lake Okoboji, fishing, vegetable gardening & growing flowers. She especially loved the holidays & being together with family. She made a mean roast beef and some of the best baked beans. Beulah was determined not to miss anyone’s birthday and was very tenderhearted toward all animals. A favored expression was “Cats are like potato chips… you can’t have just one!” Beulah is preceded in death by her parents, Otto & Mary Andersen, husband Mike Erdman, and son Jay Erdman.
Her family will miss her greatly: daughter, Kristie Erdman of Boxholm, daughter in law Beth Erdman of Bricelyn MN, and sister Viola Schoberlein of Humboldt; as well as grandchildren Mike Erdman and wife, Erin, of New Hampton and Eric Erdman of Winnebago MN; great-grandchildren: Maison, Faith, Kaira, Hailey and ‘little’ Jay. Also feeling the loss will be cousins, nieces, nephews, special neighbor, Jolene Coleman, and friends.
