Beulah E. Yerk, 88, of 1395 Princeton Avenue, died Sunday, May 15, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family, following a brief illness.
Beulah and her husband, Harold Yerk, celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary January 1, 2011.
Beulah retired from the former Brozman’s and was a 1940 graduate of East Greenville High School. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and loved gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
Born March 1, 1923 in Green Lane, she was the daughter of John and Lulu Paulhamus Reeder.
Surviving besides her husband are daughters, Linda Schramm and Jan (Ron) Sauers, both of Williamsport; a brother, John Reeder of West Palm Beach, Fla.; sisters, Mary Copeland of West Lafayette, Ind. and Ida Hartley of Haywood, Cal.; grandchildren, Matthew Sauers of State College, Jason (Sarah) Sauers of Horseheads, NY and Lauren Sauers of Williamsport and a great-grandson, Logan Sauers.
Beulah was predeceased by her siblings, Robert Reeder and Dorothy Hoffman.
