On April 11th, 2022, Bettye Jo Cox passed away peacefully at home at the age of 91. Bettye was the wife of Donald E. Cox and the mother of two children, Donna Cox Moore and Donald E. Cox II.
Bettye was born in Daleville, Alabama. She attended Bay County High School in Panama City, Florida. As a young woman, Bettye was an avid roller-skater. She married Donald E. Cox on August 2nd, 1947 and became lifelong home maker. Bettye devoted her life to being an exceptional wife and mother. She cared deeply for her friends and neighbors. She was an active member of Trussville First Baptist for many years.
Bettye was preceded in death by her son Donald E. Cox II. Bettye is survived by her husband Donald E. Cox, daughter Donna Cox Moore (Harold Moore), Daughter-in-Law Patricia Cox, three grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
