Betty Wilma Carroll went home with the Lord on September 20, 2014 at the age of 93.
Betty was born September 24, 1920 to Adolph and Edna Seipp in Denver, Colorado. Betty graduated from Lakewood High School in 1939. Later that year she married James Raleigh Carroll in Golden, Colorado on September 23, 1939. James and Betty were married for 62 years until James passed away in 2001.
She worked as a sales clerk at J.C. Penney, concession manager at the South Drive-Inn in Littleton, Colorado, switch board operator and valued employee at the Littleton National Bank from which she retired after 25 years.
Betty is survived by 3 daughters; Marilynne Gibb, Shirley Snider (John D), and Sharon Salaz. She has 5 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Jean and Donna Jean Carroll, her husband James Raleigh Carroll and her son-in-law Richard H. Gibb.
Betty is remembered for her great garden, her jams and jellies, her fantastic cherry pie and the fact that her grandchildren could always find cookies and ice cream when they came over.
