Betty resided in Crestview, Florida her entire life and took great pride in seeing her hometown grow and prosper. She graduated from Crestview Senior High School and was the first in her family to graduate college (FSU). She returned to her hometown of Crestview and opened Steele Insurance Agency. She then met and married the love of her life, Ramon, a new pharmacist in the area. In 1955, they purchased City Pharmacy and managed it until Ramon’s death in 1994.
Betty loved to travel, having her bags packed at all times. She was an encourager. Her love and genuine concern for people will be missed by all.
The family would like to give a special thanks to her nephew, Bea Steele, for his faithful attention, as well as her dedicated caregivers over the past six years and the staff and residents of Crescent Park Village and Crestview Rehab Center.
