Ms. Betty Ruth Jones, 90, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, in the North Florida Regional Medical center in Gainesville, FL following an extended illness. Betty was the daughter of the late Samuel and Adel Ellis Godbold and is preceded in death by her husband Colquitt “Rick” Jones and is also preceded in death by two brothers Elbert and Marvin Godbold, and a great-great-grandchild Eason Perry Jones.
Ms. Betty is survived by two sons Randy Jones (Wanda) and Richard Jones (Lynn) both of Lake City, FL three grandsons Bryan Jones (Michelle), David Jones (Casey), and Robbie Jones (Katelyn) all of Lake City, FL. And eight great-grandchildren, also surviving are one nephew Marvin Godbold, Jr. (Karen) Baldwin, FL, and three nieces Elaine Denmark (Chuck) and Frankie Sue Jones, both of Lake City, FL, and Judy Loeffeler, Mims, FL.
