Betty Ruth Moreland
September 3, 1943 – December 9, 2014
Betty Ruth Moreland, 71, of Heber Springs went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 9, 2014. She was born to the late Bruce and Ima Sherrod in Antioch, Arkansas. Betty was never seen without a smile on her face. She enjoyed gardening and cooking, but cherished her family most of all. She was of the Church of Christ faith.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Butch Sherrod.
Betty is survived by her husband of fifty-two years, Carroll Moreland; two sons: Stan (Mary) Moreland and Chet (Darlene) Moreland; seven grandchildren: Cody, Kara, Joshua, Makenzie, Abigail, Wade, and Claire; and friends too many to mention by name.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Mike Bauer, Dr. Cidney Hulett, and the nursing staff of St. Vincent CVICU.
