Mrs. Betty Britt Moore, 84 of Lanett, AL passed away Friday, July 4, 2014 at the Oak Landing Specialty Care in Attalla, AL.
Mrs. Moore is survived by her children, David Sanders of Anderson, SC and Sue (Larry) Hendrix of Gadsden, AL; grandchildren, Melissa (Daniel) Mostiler of Roebuck, SC; Julie (Shaun) Gibson of West Union, SC; Will (Mikaela) Sanders of Baltimore, MD; Zac (Brittni) Hendrix of Opelika, AL; and her great-grandchildren, Taylor, Gunnar, Cameron, & Mason. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Z. Moore.
Mrs. Moore was born in Chambers County, AL and enjoyed playing the piano, teaching Sunday School, and leading neighborhood Bible Studies. She was employed as a dental hygienist with Dr. William E. Martin in West Point for over 30 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lanett, AL
