Betty Maxine (McBee) Merryman Criss, age 88, of Clarksburg, WV passed away on Friday, November 20, 2015 at United Hospital Center. She was born June 17, 1927 in Clarksburg, WV; daughter of the late Phillip McBee and Ethel (Velva) McBee.
Betty is survived by her two sons, Rev. David Merryman & his wife, Mary Alice of Marlinton, WV and , James A. Merryman & his wife, Donna K. of Morgantown, WV; a daughter, Susan A. Merryman of Clarksburg, WV; seven grandchildren, Diane R. Browning, Brian L. Merryman, Lindsey B. Merryman, Andrew J. Wiant, Jesse C. Metheny, Kevan D. Metheny and Marlon P. Hess; three great grandchildren, Dustin M. Stewart, Laura K. Stewart and Colleen R. Metheny; a brother, Ben McBee & his wife, Pat of Columbus, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack B. Merryman; second husband, Raymond r. Criss; two grandchildren, Kristin C. Merryman and Brady Merryman; a brother, Earl McBee; and a sister, Ocea Lou Goff.
