Elizabeth “Betty” L. Mancini passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, September 23, 2011 at her home in Milford. Born on September 25, 1923 in Derby, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Lillian Ring Waldron. She was the wife of her beloved husband, the late Domenic S. Mancini, for 55 years.
Betty was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She dedicated her entire life to her family. She enjoyed doing a variety of crafts. Betty especially enjoyed square-dancing at Hickory Hill, which was how she met Domenic.
Betty is survived by her three daughters, Joan Mancini-Jossick and her husband Raymond of Stafford Springs, Judith Mancini of Manchester and Marjorie Mancini-Midgley and her husband Stephen of Stafford Springs; three grandsons, Jason Jossick of Stratford, Devin Midgley and Justin Jossick, both of Stafford Springs. In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was predeceased by her sister, Verna Claire Waldron.
