Died Thursday morning February 27, 2020. Betty was born February 4, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois a daughter of Aloysius N. and Lily A. (Poellot) Rosner. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident for 10 years, coming from Indiana. She was employed with Jewel Foods before retiring.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Patricia Taylor; and 2 brothers, Merle Heidmeyer and Richard Groeneveld. Betty is survived by 2 children, Jackie (Mike) Shabala of Lawrence and Bill (Renee) Diskin of Lake Village, IN; a son-in-law, Charles Taylor of Steger, IL; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Patricia Meisner of Minnesota and Evelyn Stolarek of Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.
