Mrs. Betty Louise (Haught) Fluharty, age 79, of Elkins, WV formally of Clarksburg, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Thomas Memorial Hospital with her family by her side.
She was born on August 23, 1935 in Pine Grove, WV a daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson and Agnes Streets Haught. Betty was a Methodist by faith and a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl D. Fluharty who passed away on July 26, 1997.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Brad “Rusty” and Donna Fluharty, of Elkins, Kevin and Berri Fluharty, of Poca, WV; 6 grandchildren, Brandi, Ashley, and Cody Fluharty, all of Poca, Ryan White, of Shinnston, WV, Tony Romano and Charla Romano Williams, formally of Bridgeport; 5 great-grandchildren, Jaydon, Reagan, Emilee, Parker, and Natalie; 2 brothers, Fred Haught of Brandenburg, KY, Rudy Haught, of Atlanta, GA; sister, Sue Baker, of Paden City, WV; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Entombment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
