Betty Louise Rooks (Reynolds, Perryman) 1934-2016
Betty Louise Rooks, born in Joiner Arkansas in 1934, then moved to Brawley, California in the 50’s where she met and married our dad (Melvin Reynolds). They moved to Albuquerque in 1960 and started working at Santa Fe Memorial Hospital until they closed the institution. She then continued working for many doctors and clinics in the Albuquerque area. She was an avid dog lover and lived life to its fullest, remembering the “Shirley Street Gang” where she hosted many street parties. She loved all forms of music and dancing, especially the New Mexico Ranchero’s. She leaves behind her sons, Mark, Mike and daughter, Stacy; along with many grandchildren; and great grandchildren. She fought to live up to the end but now resting, dancing and enjoying life as she once did.
