She was preceded in death by her parents Clifford Travis and Mildred Towry Travis. She was an Air Force Veteran and retired from the Federal Government. Survivors include her son, Daniel Alford Travis; her brother, Dale Travis; her sisters, Doris Towry, Joey Crick and Pat Hill; her nieces and nephews, Karen (Jerry) Scott, Nancie (Chris) Jones, Heidi (Russell) Fowler, Belinda (Rick) Randall, Melissa (Sal) Sciacchitano, Amy (Kenny) McKinney, Lisa (Mike) Belk; her nephews Johnny (Kathy) Hill, Ronnie (Barbara) Travis, Marty (Debbie) Smith; and numerous cousins and other family members.
