Betty Lou Hensley, 72, of Anderson, passed away September 6, 2013 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Anderson, IN. She was born June 30, 1941 in Burnt Prairie, Illinois and resided most of her life in Anderson. Betty graduated from Anderson High School.
She is retired from Delco Remy in 1990 after 31 years of employment. Betty is survived by her loving spouse, Hal E. Hensley, of Anderson, IN; children, Beth Richard Goff of Alexandria, IN, Edward Michele Hensley of Omaha, NE, and Henry Hensley of Deland, FL; a brother Charles Deem Stephens of Mesa, AZ; and a sister Pava Lynn Dailey Wayne of Florida.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Shannon Goff, Brandon Hensley and Brittany Reier.
She was preceded in death by her father, Hal K. Stephens; mother, Lela Stephens; and several brothers and sisters, including, Ralph Stephens, William Stephens, Elbert Skunk Stephens, Wilma Pinkerton and Mildred Smith; and a beloved pet Sweetie Pie.
