Born January 20, 1929 to the late Luther T. Woodard and Betty Louise Cain-Woodard, in Vernon, Oklahoma, where she was raised on the family farm. The youngest of nine siblings, Betty moved to San Diego, California at the age of twelve upon the passing away of her mother. In San Diego eldest sister Inez White continued to raise and nurture Betty.
Betty was called to the ministry as a young woman. She began to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and was ordained as an evangelist within the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World.
On May 7, 1998, Dr. Betty obtained her PhD from the Pentecostal Bible College in Tuskegee, Alabama. Dr. Betty became a great teacher of God’s word. She also enjoyed traveling across the country with her family in their recreational vehicle.
