Betty Lou Berarducci
Colorado Springs – Betty Lou Berarducci, 80, went to be with the Lord on June 16, 2017 in the loving presence of her family after a long illness. Betty was born on July 26, 1936 in Youngstown, Ohio to parents Robert Mills and Alice Dressel Mills.
Betty graduated from South High School in Youngstown in 1954, where she met the love of her life, Joseph (“Joe”) Berarducci. Betty and Joe were married in Youngstown on May 10, 1958. They moved to Colorado in 1965 and have been long time residents of Colorado Springs, living on the west side nestled next to the Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak.
Betty is survived by her husband of 59 years, Joseph; her daughter, JoLynn Cuseo and son-in-law, John Cuseo of Littleton, Colorado; grandchildren Zachary Cuseo and Elisabeth Cuseo; sister Donna Rogers of Youngstown; brother Robert Mills of Youngstown; and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
In addition to Betty’s parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sally Ann Crawford from Youngstown, Ohio.
Betty was a dedicated and loving wife, mother and grandmother who made family the center of her life. Her professional career included 10 years as Personnel Supervisor at Woolco along with accounting jobs at TRW and Honeywell. She especially enjoyed traveling with her husband, daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren to places like Hawaii, Mexico and Florida.
