Betty L. Krohe, 85 years, of Arenzville, IL died Tuesday evening, February 5, 2008 at the Jacksonville Convalescent Center in Jacksonville, IL.
She was born August 2, 1922 in Keokuk, IA; the daughter of John and Katherine Schnitker Turley. She married Floyd C. Krohe on August 21, 1943 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Beardstown, IL and he preceded in death on June 30, 1994.
She is survived by two sons, Richard Krohe (wife, Maxine) of Virginia and Rev. Wayne Krohe (wife, Ella Marie) of Adrian, MN; 18 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Gale Krohe (surviving wife, Sharon of Virginia) and Roland L. Krohe (surviving wife, Sandi Fouts [husband, Dale] of Chapin).
Mrs. Krohe was a graduate of Arenzville High School and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Arenzville.
