Betty Lou Kline, 96 passed away April 17, 2021 of natural causes. Betty was born in Warsaw, Indiana, April 30, 1924. She was the daughter of Mary and Roy Goshert.

When Betty graduated high school, she went to work at the GE plant working on armatures used on bomb doors of the large bombers. After moving to Miami so her husband could attend the U of M, she became a stay-at-home mom. She became a Brownie leader, room mother, Sunday school teacher and found her artist talent and her love of painting. Also finding time to attend classes at the U of M. Betty worked for nine years as a teacher to the four year olds at the newly opened Village Pines Kindergarten.

Betty was pre-deceased by her mother, father, sister Virginia and husband of 63 years Frederick. She is survived by her daughter Connie and her husband, Alan, grandsons, Chris (Juliet) and Dana (Jessica). Great granddaughter, Samantha and great grandsons, James and Andrew.

Betty will be sorely missed but we are comforted in the knowledge that Betty and Frederick are reunited again. Our family would like to thank her special ladies, Reada, Lisa and Marina for their tender loving care for Betty’s last several years of life, as well as Vitas Team 124 and East Ridge of Cutler Bay.
