Betty L. (Walsh) Eiten, 83, of LaSalle, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2010, at her home with her children by her side. Mrs. Eiten was born on August 2, 1927, in LaSalle to John and Clara (Maier) Walsh.
She married Dale J. Eiten on September 24, 1949, at St. Patricks Church in LaSalle. She worked at Arkins Drug Store in LaSalle for more than 30 years. She was a member of St. Patricks Church, LaSalle VFW Auxiliary, and Choppers.
She is survived by one daughter, Shelley (Roger) Sines of LaSalle; one son, Michael Eiten of Des Moines, IA; three grandchildren, Stacie Sines, Stephen (Jen) Sines, and Peter (Amy) Sines; three great-grandchildren, Ayden Michael Sines, Connor Dale Sines, Elizabeth Grace Sines; one sister, Mary Catherine Orlandini of LaSalle; three brothers, Jack (Gerrie) Walsh of LaSalle, George Walsh of Peru, and Robert (Karen) Walsh of Ladd.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Dale on September 17, 2003.
