Betty went to be with her Heavenly Father on June 6, 2014. She was born on March 24, 1929, to Carl J. and Thelma Fisher in Phoenix, AZ. United in marriage to Albert D. Adams in 1952, they made their home in Canon City, CO. Throughout their sixty two years of marriage, they only lived in Canon City and Colorado Springs. Betty was a loving and caring homemaker, “An all American Gal”. Her past time was crocheting and she loved doing this by the hours. Betty was an artist at tying knots with miles and miles of thread. She was a loving, kind hearted, and giving person who always saw the good in everyone and loved everyone. Betty is survived by her husband, Albert; children, Betsy (Don) Robinson of Hartman, AR, Penny (Marv) McDowell of Penrose, CO, and Stoney (Tina) Adams of Canon City, CO; grandchildren, Robert Robinson, Ricky (April) Martin, Donnie McDowell, Nickii (Ryan) Hand, and Cory Adams; great grandchildren, McKenna Martin, and two on the way in September; siblings, Nancy Kemper and Norma (Don) Bowie; sister in law, Shirley Fisher; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Evelyn Bernardi Cox; brother, Jimmy Fisher; niece, Stephanie Schoenecke; and uncle, James Sanders.
