Betty Jo Holloway, 84, Anderson, and formerly of Markleville, went to be with the love of her life, Larry Holloway, on September 6, 2021. She was surrounded by her family. Betty Jo was born February 14, 1937, in Anderson and was a lifelong resident of Madison County. She graduated from Markleville High School in 1955. Betty Jo was a farmer’s wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, and a lifelong member of the Anderson University Softball Fan Club. She retired from Indiana Knitwear. Betty Jo attended Pendleton New Life Wesleyan Church. She loved life, her family, Peaches her dog, sewing, knitting, quilting, crocheting, and her flowers.

Betty Jo is survived by six children, Terri Ice (Brent), Tony Holloway (Teresa), Tandy Jones (Larry), Tracy Theil (Dan), Teffenie Davies (Jeff), and Trecia Johnson (Alan); grandchildren, Jordan Brown (Henry), Jarah Ice, Todd Holloway, Tyler Holloway (Tiffany), Tami Jo Holloway, Tanner Holloway, Cody Jones, Abby Jones, Kara Armstrong (Sean), Kayla Theil, Reece Davies, Katie Davies, and Hailie Johnson (partner Zach); great-grandchildren, Kye Holloway, Nichole Brown, Payton Brown, Harper Armstrong, Hadley Armstrong, Hayden Armstrong, Bexley Bishop, and Theo Holloway; her brother-in-law, Ronald Holloway (Avis); her brother, Pete Millage (Belinda); her dog, Peaches; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Larry Holloway, her mother and step-father, Carroll & Elbert Pike, her father, Virgil Millage, and her sister and brother-in-law, Maxine and Carl Whetsel.

The family would like to thank Dr. Anthony Hill and his staff, as well as Compassus at Home Hospice Care nursing staff for making her last days comfortable. A special shout-out is given to Amanda Woodard and Kim Meeks for the love and care shown to mom and our family.
