Betty Jean Trippett, age 83, of Clarksburg, WV passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2015 at Clarksburg Nursing and Rebab Center surrounded by her family by her side. She was born August 8, 1931in Clarksburg, WV; the daughter of the late Hayes Carr and Ruby (Metz) Carr.
Betty is survived by her three daughters, Carmela & Brian Irwin of Bridgeport, WV, Janet Finley of Meadowbrook, WV and Joyce Ann Ancell, Meadowbrook, WV; two sons, David Haught and Regina of South Carolina, Glenn Haught of South Carolina; step-son Carl Trippett & Gayre King-Trippett of Texas; 11 grandchildren, Shilyn & Sean Skubis of Fairmont, WV, Alexander Irwin of Jane Lew, Holly Irwin of Bridgeport, WV and Savanah Irwin of Bridgeport, WV, John Paul Haught, Bobby Jo Haught, Natasha Finley, Josh Finley, Cody Finley, Misti Redman and Jeffrey Ancell, Jr.; 8 step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sister, Charlotte Fitzpatrick of Clarksburg, WV and Clara Juanita Jewell of Clarksburg, WV; brother, Kenneth & Ruth Carr of Florida and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by son, Robert Lee Haught; brother, Rick Carr; sister, Anna Hudson.
Betty lover to play bingo and enjoyed making ceramics at the Harrison County Senior Citizens Center. She also loved to play bingo at the Village Square.
