Betty Jean Smith, 84, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, December 12, 2016. Betty was born to the late Bert and Katie Poole in Hebert, Louisiana and was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area.
Betty is survived by her son, Glenn (Terri) Smith, Houston, TX; daughter, Cindy (Mike) Bowen, Flintstone, GA; brother, Edward Poole, Columbia, LA; grandchildren, Erin Smith, Leah Smith, Lindsay Smith, Ethan Bowen, Stephanie Bowen Hurst, and Austin Bowen; 4 great-grandchildren Jocelyn Hurst, Scout Hurst, Reece Hurst, and Sydnie Smith; and several nieces and nephews.
