Betty Bailey Hill, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed into the arms of her Heavenly Father on Monday, December 30, 2019 in Boerne, TX. She was born on March 6, 1934 in Dustin, Oklahoma to Arthur P. Bailey and Onema M. Thomas and spent her childhood in Hanna, Oklahoma. It was there she learned the value of perseverance and hard work, and it was there she learned to love dancing. She was baptized into the Assembly of God Church and carried her faith with her always.

She married William S. Leming in 1950, eventually moving to Bakersfield, CA and she lived there until they divorced. She moved to Ridgecrest in 1970 and worked first at Drummond Medical Group and then at Ridgecrest Medical Group. Never one to sit idle, she began bartending at The Hideaway part-time where she made many friends and even snuck in a dance or two. Eventually, she went on to enter car sales where she excelled and was the top sales producer many times.

After retirement, she spent time between Ridgecrest and Oklahoma. She volunteered at the Ridgecrest USO and at Muskogee Regional Hospital, and danced several times a week in Muskogee, OK. She eventually settled in Boerne, Texas to be closer to her daughter.

She is survived by her sons, Mike Leming (Lori), Steve Leming, and daughters Jan Terry (Ray) and Debbie Dysart (Chris); a brother, Bobby Bailey (Barbara), a sister Phyllis Gann, and sister-in-law Anita Bailey; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, forever friends Jodi Huff and Dan Thompson, and many other friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Jeanie Bailey, Teresa Bailey, Judy Lively, and Wanda Kirkendoll; brothers Kenny Bailey, Jackie Bailey, and Dan Bailey; and her precious daughter Joyce Landeros.

Per her wishes, Betty was cremated and her ashes will be buried in Hanna, Oklahoma.

The family would like to express sincere gratitude to the staffs of Heritage Place Assisted Living and New Hope Assisted Living, Alamo Hospice, and PA Kristen Steinke who all watched over and provided exceptional care of Betty in her final months.
