Betty Jean Knight of Huntsville, AL peacefully passed away in the early hours of August 7th, 2020. Betty Jean was preceded in death by her mother Ella Ruth Damota, father John Huston Gaither, Husband Robert Lee Knight Jr., son Gregory Lee Knight, grandson Jeremy Lee Knight, brothers John and Billy Gaither, and many other loved ones. She is survived by her granddaughter Whitney Marie Knight, great grandson Luke Sterling Grubbs, niece Shara (ShaSha) Jarboe, great nieces Hannah, Anna, and Gracie. As well as many other nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Betty Jean was born December 26th, 1934 in Jackson Co. to parents Ella and John. She married her husband Robert Jr in 1952 and gave birth to her only son Gregory in 1961. She was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Betty Jean was exceptionally crafty, thoughtful and loving.
