Betty Jean Brown Mark Martin Hall, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away on Friday, May 06, 2016, at the home of her son and daughter-in-law. She would have celebrated her 85 birthday on Monday.

She was born on May 9, 1931, in Ogden, Utah, a daughter of Harvey Lorane and Gertrude Hayes Brown. Betty graduated from Weber High School with the class of 1949.

On August 9, 1951, she married Delwin E. Mark. He preceded her in death on January 31, 1972. She then married Glen Martin. Following Glen’s death, she married Keith Hall.

Betty was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She was an active member of the Utah Daughters of the Pioneers. She enjoyed cooking, canning, sewing, crocheting, collecting, bowling and antiques.

Betty is survived by her children, Deborah Llewellyn (Jim), Rickey D. Mark, Cary Mark (Shelley), Kevin Mark (Tina), 17 grandchildren, and 34 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, parents, brother, Leon, great-grandson Drayden, and best friend, Jerilyn White.

The family would like to give special thanks to son Cary, and daughter-in-law Shelley, for having her in their home. The wonderful staff at A Step Forward, The Pallative Care Team at McKay-Dee Hospital, Dr. Krutka, Nikki and Brandy for guiding us.
