MAY’S LICK Betty Ormes Shepherd, 87, of May’s Lick passed away Monday, August 27, 2012 at Robertson County Health Care Facility in Mt. Olivet.
Mrs. Shepherd was born in Maysville on October 29, 1924 daughter of the late Sidney & Ida Moore Ormes.
Survivors include 2 sons, Gary Shepherd and Bobby (Wanetta) Shepherd of May’s Lick. 2 grandchildren, Darren (Mary Beth) Shepherd of May’s Lick and Chasity Jones Given of Lexington. 5 great grandchildren, Madalyn Mele, Tanner Reese & Caleigh Suzanne Given; Baylee Grace & Gavin Slade Shepherd. A special friend Janice Shepherd and 3 brothers, Billy (Judy) Ormes of Tampa, FL, Jerry (Sharon) Ormes of Maysville and Jackie (Sharon) Ormes of Mt. Orab, OH. A sister, Jean (Sammy) Vice of Aberdeen, OH. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Sidney Ormes, Jr., Bobby Ormes and Freddy Ormes and a grand-son-in-law Jeremy Jones.
