Betty Jane Roth, 85 of Cairo, MO, died Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Valley View Nursing Home in Moberly. She was born November 11, 1930 in Highland, IL to Edwin and Katherine (Haase) Reding.
Betty married Jerome John Roth on July 20, 1949 in the St. Jerome’s Catholic Church in Troy, IL and he preceded her in death on July 7, 1967. She was also preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, seven sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters- in-law, nieces and nephews.
Survivors include her children; Allen Roth and wife Rena of Madison, MO, Joseph Roth and his wife Shirley, Edward Roth and his wife Cindy and Kathy Palmatory and her husband Donnie all of Cairo, MO, ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Betty was a member of the St. Pius X Catholic Church. She loved gardening, family dinners and spending time with her family. She loved the farm life and enjoyed working with the cows, chickens and working the fields.
