Betty Jane Ericksen, 92, of Spirit Lake passed away on Friday, April 28, 2017, at the Hawkeye Care Center in Spirit Lake. Betty was born on January 10, 1925, to Louis and Florence (Johnson) Schweitzer. She was united in marriage to Milo “Mike” Ericksen in Dakota City, NE. He preceded her in death on March 4, 2007.
She worked with her daughter Sherry in the family Antique Shop and also was a waitress. Betty enjoyed race cars, was a fabulous cook and took great pride in being a caregiver to her family.
She is survived by her daughter Judy Mullen of Sioux City; grandchildren Randy, Rick, Rod, Ned, Leslie, Matt, and Mitchell; many great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and daughter, Sherry Koppen.
