She died at 6:36 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2006, in St. Anthony Medical Center, St. Louis, Mo.
Betty and her husband, Lew, owned and operated Fletchers Lake Store from 1965 to 1976.
She also was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary Post 3790, Eagles Ladies Auxiliary and the W.E. Club of Fulton.
She especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Catherine Cameron Roy and her husband, Paul, Imperial, Mo., Celia Cameron Jones and her husband, Shannon, Walton, Jenny Cameron Bauman, Logansport, and Jane Cameron Anthrop and her husband, Harold, West Point; one son and daughter-in-law, Donald N. and Jody Cameron, Rochester; one sister, Ada Eades, Florida; one sister-in-law, Barbara Cameron, Vero Beach, Fla.; grandchildren, Chris Armstrong and her husband, Gary, Jamee Jones, Darren Jones, Colin Jones, Rebecca Hall and her husband, Tim, Shannon Barnaby and her husband, Mike, Tina Memmer and her husband, Scott, Bethany Downs and her husband, Chris, Shane Cameron, Mallory Cameron, John Townsend and his wife, Kara, Alicia Townsend and Leah Townsend; three stepgranddaughters, Cristina Fels, Shannon Liker and Melissa Brown; one stepgrandson, William Bauman; 21 great-grandchildren; seven stepgreat-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
One brother, Jack Clarkson, one sister, Joy Williams, half brother, Leonard Clarkson, and half sister, Irma Ribelin, preceded in death.
