Betty Jane Orr Cabas, age 91, of Salem, passed away Monday, May 26, 2014. She was born October 5, 1922 in Salineville, Ohio, daughter of the late William B. and Leona (Leishman) Orr. Mrs. Cabas was a graduate of Salineville High School. She was a dedicated and loving wife and mother. Survivors include her daughter, Pamela (Joseph) Sigurani of Salem; a son, John Mackey Cabas of Salem; a brother, Robert (Mary) Orr of Tennessee; nieces, Jennifer (Dave) Roberts, Jill (Mark) Beck, Sheri )Joe) Miller and Beth (Daniel) Aranda; and nephews, Greg (Bari) Sponseller, Jeff (Malina) Orr, Thomas (Brenda) Needham, Robert “Chip” Orr and John Orr. Preceding her in death is her husband, John A. Cabas, a daughter, Reynette Rae Cabas, two sisters, Altrea (Herb) Sponseller and Gay Lee (Aaron) Needham, and a brother, Harold Bernard(Olive)Orr.
