Betty J. Barger, 90, of Nashville, IL formerly of Centralia, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family. Betty was born May 15, 1928 in Centralia, the daughter of Edward Kratzner and Dora (McCollough) Kratzner.
She married Wayne F. Barger and he preceded her in death on February 20, 1995. Betty is survived by three children: Betty Setzekorn and husband Henry of Nashville, IL, Don Barger and wife Debbie of Hoffman, and Nancy Barger of Nashville, IL; nine grandchildren: Mike Setzekorn and wife Nikki of Nashville, IL, Stephanie Daiber and husband Jim of Trenton, Ronnie Barger of Huey, IL, Rodney Barger and wife Krista of Hoffman, IL, Brian Barger and wife Cindy of Hoffman, IL, Tim Barger and wife Laura of Albers, IL, Jody Stofferahn and husband Curtis of Espyville, PA, and Tabatha Kohrmann and husband Morgan of Richview and Sabrina Barger of Centralia, IL; 21 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; sister-in-law: Geri Kratzner of Centralia, IL; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Betty was preceded in death by her parents: Edward and Dora Kratzner; husband: Wayne F. Barger; son: Troy Barger; grandson: Steven Scott Setzekorn; great grandson: Zachary Setzekorn; great-great grandson: Keith Emerson; great-great granddaughter: Ellaina Emerson; brother: Harold Kratzner; sisters: Jean Wike and Ruth Smith; and sister-in-law: Maxine Kleine.
