Betty J. Lawson Seybert, 80, Anderson, died November 17, 2006 at Community Hospital, Anderson after an extended illness. She was born November 15, 1926 in Anderson, Indiana, and was a lifelong Anderson resident.
She was a homemaker, cook and waitress. She was a member of Amvets Post #692, the VFW and the American Legion in Chesterfield. She loved playing the organ. She was a wonderful cook and a loving person to her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband whom she married June 19, 1970, Joseph E. Seybert; two sons, Barry & wife Dreathia Lawson of Anderson and Rick & wife Gretchen Pringle of North Port, Florida; sister, Nancy O’Neill of Anderson; granddaughter, Candice & husband Richard Grosse; four great grandchildren, Richard Grosse, Samantha Grosse, Morgan Grosse and Dalton Grosse; brother-in-law, David Seybert; two sisters-in-law, Carolyn & husband Robert Senseney and Earline & husband Charles Jeffries; and several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to all the nurses on 3 North at Community Hospital and also to Dr. Bakdash and his staff. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest C. & Dorothy Hiles Lawson.
