Betty Jane Ratcliff, Crawfordsville, passed away Saturday, August 17, 2019, at the age of 76 after a brief illness.
She was surrounded by her loving family during the last days of her life. She was born August 31, 1942, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to Clifford Holler and Ruby (Hartley) Holler.
She married Ted Ratcliff, of Kingman, on February 10, 1962 in Clinton. Ted preceded her in death in 2018.
Survivors include her 3 children: Lori Ann (Jeff) Abney, Goshen, Brett, Crawfordsville, DeDe (Mitch) Groves, Crawfordsville. She has 9 grandchildren: Lindsay Diemer, Goshen; Jacey (Jason) Liechty, Indianapolis; Lexy (Anthony) DeBoni, Goshen; Brennen and Christian Ratcliff, Crawfordsville; and Scout, Caden, and Aryn Groves, all of Crawfordsville. Betty has 4 great-grandchildren: Kanyn, Luka, and Kace Diemer, Goshen; Alena Ratcliff, Crawfordsville; and a brother Bill of California.
She was preceded in death by brother Bob Holler, Wisconsin; Jacquie Irwin, Terre Haute; and Nancy Holler, Terre Haute.
Betty considered her greatest life work caring for her family. Through the years, she was a caregiver to many displaying the greatest example of a servant’s heart.
Betty enjoyed spending her time attending all her children and grandchildren’s activities and was everyone’s biggest supporter and encourager!
