Betty Carl, beloved wife, mother, aunt, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 19th, 2022 at age 86. She was born in Waukegan, Illinois to the late Robert and Edith Huff. She was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Carl Jr. and infant son, David Carl. She is survived by her four children: daughter Tracy and her husband John Donovan, daughter Cindy Harperee, daughter Leslie and her husband Tim O’Brien, and son George H. Carl III. Betty is also survived by her grandchildren: John and his wife Anne, Meghan, Kellsey, Matt and his wife Sarah, Sean, Kayleigh, Connor, Nick, George, and Kori
A resident of Fairfield since 1973, she leaves behind a heartbroken but vast social network of friends in the Fairfield community. Daily phone calls with friends were a high priority in her life.
