Betty J. Baker 86 of Indianapolis and formerly of Clinton passed away on Feb 27, 2011
at 10:45pm in Altenheim Nursing Home in Indianapolis. She was born on March 21,
1924 in Clinton to James Trosper and Hattie Sollars Trosper. She married Eugene E.
Baker on Feb 28, 1946 in Clinton and he precedes her in death. She had helped in her
husband’s accounting business. She was a member of the First United Methodist
She is preceded in death by her parents, a son James D. Baker, a daugher in law
Glenna Baker and 11 siblings.
She is survived by a son Eugene E. Baker II of Indianapolis, a sister Rose Stultz of
Waveland, two granddaughters Janet C. Baker and Robin L. Baker both of Portland,
OR., and a great granddaughter Aria Pierce of Portland, OR. She helped raised a niece
and nephew Phyllis J. Campbell and Paul Trosper. She is also survived byseveral nieces
and nephews.
