She married Johnny Jay Suggs on June 24th, 1950 and was a dedicated wife and mother, worked with her husband in his plumbing and septic business, and later worked in real estate. Betty is survived by her son, Johnny Jay Suggs II; grandchildren Johnny Jay Suggs III, Jamie (James) Lee Hudson, and Jessie Marie Suggs; and four great-grandchildren Emma, Sean, Kyle, and Adam.
