Betty Hayes Puckett, age 90, of Buford, GA passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Hoyt A. Puckett; son, James Puckett.
he is survived by her daughter, Linda and Grady Hendrix, Buford, GA; grandchildren, Tracy (Tracy) Larue, Waller, TX, Julie Puckett, Buford, GA, Joey Puckett, Buford, GA, Dana (Chad) Bruce, Brookhaven, GA; five great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Carolyn) Hayes, Toccoa, GA; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mrs. Puckett was born June 27, 1930, in Jefferson County, AL.
She was a graduate of Lawrenceville High school and recently was a Homemaker. She also had worked for Sears-Roebuck Company as a clerk. Mrs. Puckett was a longtime member of Harmony Baptist Church, Buford, GA. She enjoyed sewing and she loved it when she and her husband, Hoyt, used to go camping.
