Betty H. Miller, 77, of Mount Sterling, IL and formerly of Virginia, IL died June 18, 2017, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.
She was born May 6, 1940 in Chandlerville, IL, the daughter of Edward John and Helen E. Bateman Duckwiler.
She is survived by three children, Debra Hish (husband, James) of Beardstown, Cindy Martin (husband, David) of Mt. Sterling, and Scott Miller of Virginia; a brother, Ivan Duckwiler (wife, Patsy) of Lowell, AR; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Thomas Duckwiler Huffman; and a sister, Joan Quick.
Betty provided cleaning services for many area residents and later worked in the dietary department at Walker Nursing Home in Virginia. She was a member of Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church in rural Virginia. A devoted St. Louis Cardinal fan, she also enjoyed quilting, crafting, and crocheting.
