Betty A. Gibson, (McLaughlin), died peacefully in Tucson, Arizona on 30 November, 2017 at the age of 97.
Born on December 8, 1919, in Huntington County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Otis and Mary Mongel McLaughlin. She attended Lafayette Central High School and Ball State Teacher’s College in Muncie, Indiana. She was employed as a laboratory technician at the Caylor-Nickel Clinic in Bluffton, Indiana. She was married on March 16, 1947 to Delbert Gibson of Eaton, Indiana, who died on July 4, 2001.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs Gailyn (John) Conser of St David, Arizona; two sons, Dean Gibson of Albuquerque, New Mexico and J. Duane (Robin) Gibson of Tucson, Arizona; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by four sisters; Lois Kimmer, Myrtle Reece, Mildred Purcell and Lucille Edris.
