Betty G. Beeks, 94, of Huntington, IN, passed away on September 19, 2020 at Millers Merry Manor, Huntington, IN.
Mrs. Beeks was born April 22, 1926 in Huntington, IN to Leslie (L.H.) and Opal (Hoag) Gamble. Her parents preceded her in death. Mrs. Beeks married Leonard R. Beeks on August 9, 1945 in Long Island, NY. He preceded her in death on October 7, 1993.
Betty was employed as a secretary for Majestic and retired in 1987. Mrs. Beeks was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and lifetime member of American Legion Post #7, and Eagles Auxiliary. She was a member of the Erie Band and the Red Hat Society.
Betty is survived by one son, Timothy (Teri) L. Beeks, Huntington, IN; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers: William (Ellen) Gamble and Michael (Lora) Gamble, both of Huntington, IN.
Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one son, Thomas R. Beeks; two daughters, Linda Sue Beeks, and Susan Sanders; one grandson, and two brothers, David Gamble and Robert Gamble.
