I, Betty Francine Chesnut of Lakeland died, June 26, 2014, of natural causes. I am now with Jesus and my beloved husband, Donald Lee, who has been waiting for me here in Heaven for 15 years. I was born Jan. 9, 1922, in Muncie, Indiana to Leada White Hier & Lester Hier. While on this Earth I enjoyed playing the spoons in several kitchen bands and entertaining people with my whistling. I worked in a laundry, restaurant and helped run a mom and pop grocery store, but my grandest job was raising my two daughters, Donna Winchester and Penny Rodriguez of Lakeland. I will miss my three granddaughters, Tina, Misty and Nickelette and my four great grandchildren. My favorite saying is “Don’t Worry Be Happy” and I wish that for my family now.
