Betty Taylor Haynes, 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 19 in Acworth, GA. She was born October 11, 1935, in Newnan, GA to the late Huel and Bessie Mae (Kee) Taylor. She was a loving and caring sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Betty lived most of her life in Waycross, GA where for nearly 40 years she was the owner-operator of the beauty salons at Baptist Village Retirement Community. She loved her job and her life-long friends from Baptist Village.
She is survived by her children, Jackie Summerlin (Bobby) of Acworth, GA, Amanda Lynn Hardy of Suwanee, GA and Scott Haynes of West Palm Beach, FL and sisters and brother Patricia Stancill (Ronnie); Connie England (Alan) and Duane Taylor (Jan) of Newnan, GA and grandchildren Leslie Torrez (Miguel), Erin Skinner (Thomas), Haylee Summerlin, Ethan Hardy (Jordan), Jordan Hardy, Nyla Hardy, Hannah Haynes, Holly Stradling (Ted), Ty Haynes and great-grandchildren Rylie Springer, Jaxon Torrez, Charlotte Stradling and Sage Skinner.
