Betty Elaine (Edwards) Urquhart of Plymouth, passed away at Life Care Center in Plymouth on June 19, 2022 at the age of eighty-nine. She was the beloved wife of the late Gerald Ralph Urquhart; loving mother of Linda Jakosky and her husband Donn of California, Stephen Urquhart and his wife Maureen of Texas, Donna Souza and her husband Paul of Plymouth, Donald Urquhart and his wife Nachelle of New Mexico and Janet Sullivan and her husband Stephen of Connecticut. She was the grandmother of Kyle, Jenny, Laura, Andrew, Tiffany, Matthew, Gerald, Theodore, Christopher, Michael, Katie, William, Hunter, Luke, and great grandmother to nine. Betty was born in Canada on August 27, 1932 to the late William and Dorothea (Whitelaw) Edwards. She was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, before moving to the United States. Betty had many hobbies which included, painting, sewing, knitting, baking and cooking. She loved nature and the outdoors and could often be found gardening, bird watching, camping, climbing trees or fly fishing in the High Sierra’s. Betty could fix anything as she was a “jack of all trades”. Her greatest joy was raising her five children. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
