Betty Allison Norris passed away Monday, September 28, 2015 after an extended illness. She was born September 18, 1930 to Pettus and Reverend Leonard Eikel. She lived in the Mikesville Community and attended Fort White schools and Columbia High.
She and her husband John enjoyed traveling the world for many years. They were both avid Gator fans and enjoyed going to games both here and away. She was always the boss and was given the title “Officer in Charge Madam Queen” Betty enjoyed playing bridge with her friends for at least 50 years.
Betty is survived by her husband, John Norris; her three sons, Carl (Joan) Allison, Steve (Teresa) Allison and Chuck (Vesna) Allison; step-children, Guy (Suzanne) Norris and Elizabeth (Jim) White; 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl “Roy” Allison, her grandson, Jared Allison and her sister, Martha Peck.
