Betty Drescher, 87, of Quakertown, died Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Lehigh Valley Inpatient Hospice, Allentown. She was the wife of the late John M. Drescher. Born in Nottingham, she was a daughter of the late Clayton and Martha (Gish) Keener. Betty was an elementary school teacher for many years. She was a member of Finland Mennonite Church, Pennsburg. Surviving are her children: Ron Drescher, wife Inez; Rev. Sandy Drescher-Lehman, husband John; Rose Longacre, husband Rich; Joe Drescher, wife Janice and David Drescher, wife Rhonda; 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marie Riehl.
